Working across sculpture, installation, and moving image, Nguyen navigates between the high and the low; humour and seriousness. Drawing from contexts of hospitality and tourism, she is interested in how narratives of desire, fantasy, and value are constructed and maintained, and how manufactured objects participate in the staging of our lived experience.
